When you ask Show Up to check a site, we make a small number of polite requests to it, identifying as ShowUpBot/1.0 (+https://show-up.abunab.workers.dev/bot). We fetch at most your /robots.txt, the page you gave us, and a check for /sitemap.xml. If your robots.txt asks crawlers not to read the site, we do not fetch your page content. We cache a result for 24 hours so repeated checks do not add load.
